Keep Your Dog's Brain Busy, Not Your Furniture

Your dog paces, chews the baseboards, and destroys pillows because there is simply nothing challenging to do.

Studies show dogs without enough mental stimulation develop anxiety, ignore commands, and redirect that energy destructively every single day.

This interactive carrot garden hides treats under plush carrots, giving your dog a full nose-and-brain workout in every session.

One Toy That Works Every Sense

You spend money on squeaky toys and rope pulls, but your dog loses interest in each one within minutes.

Most toys are passive and skip the olfactory challenge that actually tires dogs out and satisfies their foraging drive.

The treat-hiding design engages smell, problem-solving, and physical pulling together, draining your dog's energy faster than a simple fetch session.

Clean in Minutes, Not Hours

Pet toys collect drool, treat crumbs, and debris fast, and most are nearly impossible to properly wash at home.

Leaving dirty plush toys out puts your dog at risk and makes your home smell, but replacing toys gets expensive.

The soil layer zips off the base in seconds so you can toss it in the wash and fully reset the toy.

What sizes of dogs can use this toy?

This toy works well for dogs of all sizes. At 13.78 x 13.78 inches (35 x 35 cm), the mat gives small breeds like Yorkies and large breeds like Labradors or Great Danes plenty of room to sniff and play.

How many carrots are included?

Is this toy safe for puppies?

Yes, it is made from soft plush and fill with no hard edges or detachable small parts. As with any toy, supervise your puppy during play, especially in early sessions while they are learning how it works.

How do I introduce my dog to this toy?

Start by letting your dog sniff the toy without any treats so they can explore it freely. Then hide two or three high-value treats under different carrots and encourage them to find each one. Most dogs catch on within a few minutes.

Dog figured it out too quickly

It worked well for about two weeks, but my very food-motivated border collie memorized the locations and now just goes straight to each hole without actually sniffing. I've tried hiding treats under fewer carrots to make it harder but she still finishes in under a minute. Might work better for a less intense dog.

Good for enrichment, watch the carrots

My shepherd gets a bit rough and has pulled two carrots partially apart where the stem meets the base. They're still usable but I can see they'll eventually need to be replaced. For a calmer or smaller dog this probably isn't an issue. The mental workout it provides is real, though.

Lots of fun, one minor issue

My goldendoodle plays with this every day and clearly enjoys it. The soil layer unzipped itself during an enthusiastic session once, but it was easy to rezip and hasn't happened again. Good enrichment toy overall.

Great toy, packaging was minimal

The toy itself is exactly what I hoped for. My cavalier loves sniffing out the treats and the washable soil layer is a really useful feature. I only gave it four stars because it arrived in very basic packaging and one carrot had a loose seam. Small issue, and I was able to fix it easily.

Works well but fewer carrots than I expected

My dog picked it up immediately and loves it. The only thing is that there seem to be fewer carrot holes than the photos suggested. She burns through the whole mat pretty quickly once she knows where to look. Still a good toy, just wish there was a bit more to it.

Dog needed a few days to catch on

My lab mix showed zero interest the first two sessions. I switched to smellier treats and she suddenly got the concept. Once she understood it she was hooked, but the slow start was a bit frustrating. I'd suggest having really high-value treats on hand when you first introduce it.

Good toy but my big dog picks it up

My 80-pound shepherd mix figured out she could just pick up the whole mat and shake it. We had to hold one end while she played, which defeats the purpose a bit. Smaller or less determined dogs probably won't have this issue. Otherwise the toy itself is really well made and she does love it.

Puppy is obsessed with the carrots

She'll pull them all out and then carry them around the room one by one. Even without treats hidden underneath she just likes playing with the individual carrots. With treats it's a full workout and she sleeps well after.

Great for my anxious pit bull

My pit bull gets stressed easily and sniff work has been recommended as a calming activity. This toy makes it easy to do a proper session every day. She's visibly calmer after each round and has stopped the pacing she used to do in the evenings.

Tires out my husky mix faster than a run

Sniffing work is surprisingly exhausting for dogs, apparently. My husky mix is hard to settle but after 20 minutes with this toy she actually lies down and naps. The activity drains her in a way that pure physical exercise sometimes doesn't.

Sturdy and well thought out

The carrots feel dense, not cheap and hollow. They sit in the holes properly without being so tight that the dog struggles to get them out. My standard poodle figured it out quickly and the toy has survived about eight weeks of daily sessions without any damage.

Finally a toy my senior dog stays focused on

My 12-year-old beagle ignores most toys at this point. This one gets her attention because the treats are there but she has to work to find them. She moves slowly but stays engaged for the whole session, which is more than I can say for anything else we've tried.

Good value and easy to clean

Washes well, dries pretty fast, and the carrots haven't lost their shape after multiple wash cycles. My shih tzu uses it every evening and it's held up better than I expected for the price. Straightforward toy that does exactly what it's supposed to.

Border collie solved it in two minutes

My border collie is almost too smart for her own good. She figured out the game immediately but still enjoys it because sniffing out the specific locations takes focus even when you understand the concept. We do multiple rounds and she's always ready for more.

Durable material, good quality

Three months of regular use and this toy looks almost the same as when it arrived. My springer spaniel plays with it pretty aggressively, nosing everything around and tossing the carrots, but nothing has worn out. The soil layer washes up nicely.

My nervous rescue warmed up fast

She was really cautious about new objects for the first few weeks home. I introduced this slowly, just leaving it out for a few days before adding treats. By the second treat session she was fully confident with it. Now it's one of her favorite things.

Exactly the right size

At about 14 inches square it fits on the floor without taking over the whole room. My dog is a medium-sized lab mix and she has plenty of space to work all the carrots without the mat sliding around. The weight keeps it in place pretty well.

My yorkie loves every session

She's tiny but her nose is just as capable as any big dog's. She sniffs out every treat methodically and then replays the whole game if I reload it. The mat size is good even for a small dog, plenty of room for her to move around.

Really good enrichment toy

My golden mix had been showing signs of boredom, getting into trash, chewing furniture. We added this to her daily routine and the destructive behavior has dropped significantly. Thirty minutes of sniff work seems to count for way more than just a walk.

Perfect for rainy day indoor sessions

We live in the Pacific Northwest and rainy days with a high-energy dog used to be rough. Now I pull out this toy and do a few rounds of treat hiding and she's settled for the rest of the afternoon. It's become part of our routine.

Started with high-value treats, worked perfectly

Tip for anyone with a skeptical dog: start with really smelly treats the first couple of sessions. My terrier mix was uninterested until I hid some cheese cubes under the carrots. Now she goes straight to it when I bring it out, even for dry kibble.

My lab has not destroyed it yet

I say that because my lab destroys everything. Three weeks in and this toy is still completely intact. She plays with it every day. The plush is thick and the stitching hasn't started to fray at all.

Well made and easy to use

The carrots drop back into the holes smoothly and the soil layer zips on and off with no hassle. I was worried the carrots might be too stiff or too loose but they have just the right amount of resistance. My pup needed one demonstration and then understood the game.

Even my cat uses it occasionally

Bought this for my dog but my cat has started batting at the carrots too. The dog was the main target, and she uses it every day, but it's funny to watch the cat pull a carrot out and look surprised. The mat is lightweight enough to move around easily.

Great for my older dog

My 10-year-old lab can't do long walks anymore but she still needs stimulation. This toy gives her a low-impact way to stay mentally active. She works through it slowly and seems genuinely satisfied when she finds each treat.

My beagle goes absolutely wild for it

Beagles are nose dogs through and through, and this toy was made for them. My two-year-old beagle gets so focused when I bring it out that she ignores everything else in the room. She noses each carrot up before pulling it to find the treat underneath.

Quality is better than expected

The stitching on both the mat and the carrots is really solid. My beagle is a chewer and so far nothing has torn or come apart. The plush material feels thick and the carrots sit snugly in the holes without falling out on their own.

Keeps my hyper lab occupied

My lab gets bored in about 30 seconds with regular toys. This one keeps her going for at least 30 minutes per session. I load it up with a mix of treats and kibble and she just works through every single carrot until they're all out.

Perfect for my dachshund

My dachshund is small but she absolutely nails this toy. She uses her nose to push the carrots aside before pulling them out and it keeps her busy for a solid 20 minutes. Worth every penny for the calm that follows.

Easy to wash, holds up well

The soil layer unzips really easily and goes straight in the washing machine. I've washed it four times now and it still looks great. The carrots themselves I spot clean with a damp cloth and they dry quickly.

Bought for my sister's corgi, big hit

Got this as a gift and my sister texted me to say her corgi refuses to leave it alone. She hides small bits of kibble under the carrots and the dog spends ages trying to sniff each one out. Solid construction, nothing flimsy about it.
